Dialogue and process orientation
A flexible and creative playground landscape
Niche and zone divisions
Based on an open, process-oriented working procedure one of the joint targets of the Bryghusgrunden is to create an inspiring and varied playground landscape that stimulates the individual child’s learning and play needs in active, passive and recreational contexts. There should be a variety of play and leisure opportunities for all age groups and for both sexes. Both for quiet, relaxing activities as well as for wild, energetic games in order to stimulate everyday development motorically, physically and socially. The crucial keywords are imagination, variability, dynamics, movement, process and user dialogue – all the components that together can create a completely original sense of identity for Bryghusgrunden.
We have concentrated on designing places and squares in an urban landscape. Squares with a sense of locality – with a special individual character and with room for play. With the Bryghusgrunden it has been our intention to contribute with new ways of thinking and reflections on how new playground landscapes may contribute with structures that result in active local dialogue to vitalise the area. Our efforts consist in gaining experience and contributing with expert knowledge and experience to provide playful souls with the optimum conditions for a good psychological, physical and aesthetic environment.
