The bridge spans over a heavily trafficked road, Holbæk motorvejen, into Copenhagen. It connects the two parts of Vigerslevparken and creates a safe crossing for more than 4000 pedestrians and cyclists a day. Kragh & Berglund has designed a subtle landscape that blends into the existing park, with soft earth formations, 72 new trees and new pathways, creating better flows and connections in the area.
The bridge and park are made in good collaboration with: Dissing+Weitling, COWI, Københavnskommune og Bladt industries
