GENTOFTE SPORTSPARK
During the renovation of Gentofte Sportspark, Kragh&Berglund was asked to create the hall's new surroundings. When you arrive at the sports park, you are led down to the heart of the sports field, the entrance area, which is lowered in level in relation to the hall and the surrounding areas in line with Arne Jacobsen's original facilities from 1936. The site is reserved for cyclists and pedestrians. The new Gentofte Sports Park with the distinctive outdoor spaces creates a visible and recognizable landmark for the organized association life in Gentofte Municipality.
A COHERENT ACTIVITY CENTER
In front of the arrival area, there is a "Kiss n 'Ride", where parents and buses can quickly drop off the sports field's guests. Kragh&Berglund has also further optimized the parking conditions so that the hall's running guests can find space for the larger events. As part of the extensive renovation, the football pitches have been covered with professional artificial turf, which ensures optimal outdoor training throughout the year. New activities have been added, including an athletics facility, and all the areas are connected by green areas and with plenty of space for spectators in the large grandstand.
