As the first Northern European architecture office working in China, we were very excited to participate in the Beijing Design week in 2018. That year Copenhagen was the guest city. We created the exhibition in close collaboration with Dissing + Weitling. Inspired by the geometry of the exhibition booth we made it possible to visually “walk into Copenhagen on top of the bicycle snake” and from there experience architecture and landscape projects made by both offices.

During the opening we met the Crown prince of Denmark. It was a three-minute meeting with a surprising twist, when Danish politician Frank Jensen discovered his own house on the big poster. He jumped up and ran over there to show it to the prince, the delegation and us. Even this small 12m2 surface made people excited enough to move. That is landscape architecture in action.
