Hästö Förskola is a kindergarten for 70 children. The new playground has been developed in close co-operation with Karlskrona Kommune. The basic idea for the area has been to create terraces of varying levels and at the same time to solve the area’s elevation problem. The playground is constructed with a variety of zones which are adapted to the children’s different stages of development. Some have a strongly designed character with a high degree of details whereas other zones are untouched natural areas with an uncultivated character. Using different zones and uniquely designed playground equipment the playground is brought together as a whole. The playground activates and stimulates the motoric, sensuous, social and creative development of the child.
