The housing development consists of four housing blocks in a bend along Mølleholmen. The three most northern blocks are residential care facilities whereas the south block is dedicated to people suffering from mental illnesses.
Kragh & Berglund’s work includes the completion of open areas as well as parking and traffic areas. The simple landscape is designed with sculptural planting elements such as cut hedges, high ornamental grasses and scattered coniferous trees.
The residents’ gardens are designed with cut grass and with cut hedges to separate the houses. An aesthetic system for rainwater collection has been established between blocks 3 and 4 to the south in which rainwater can be collected and retained before it is drained off via an internal drainage system
