DTU SPACE CAMPUS 328

DTU space produces high-tech space equipment for the entire world, including NASA. They are expanding and in connection to this an outdoor area is created inspired by sound graphs and the starry sky.

The landscape south of building 327 is characterized by oak trees. Building 327 is moreover one of the only buildings at DTU which has the forest right outside of its windows. The foliage of the trees acts as a filter for the sun and as a shield against Elektrovej. The trees are of great quality for the new building Normalhus 328, which is created in extension of building 327. The oak trees and the wild undergrowth are retained as an integral part of the building design.

A GREEN MEET PLACE INSPIRED BY THE STARRY SKY

The landscape around SPACE building 328 arises from a need for an improved traffic solution to and from the building. This purely functional solution is combined with the establishment of a presentable arrival area, which offers the students and employees a place for stay and recreation.
